A NSW Government website

Using SIRA’s logo and branding

For agreed sponsors and funded partners.

This information is for organisations sponsored or commissioned by SIRA to do research or training. It provides information about how to use our logo and request Microsoft Word templates for reporting information.

Who is permitted to use our logo?

If SIRA has formally engaged you to undertake work or sponsorship (under an agreement or written confirmation), then you may have permission to use our logo. In all cases, you must request approval to use our logo in documents or on your website. The permission to use SIRA’s branding is only granted for the length of the agreement or engagement.

How to use our logo

If you are working with SIRA, it is essential that the SIRA logo is displayed correctly. Please use the guidance below and contact the Communications team for the latest versions of our logo.

Logo type

When the SIRA logo is used alongside the logo of other organisations, the ‘coupled’ SIRA logo should always be used (please see correct use example below).

Size relationship

The SIRA coupled logo and the logo of organisations we are sponsoring or endorsing must appear visually balanced and a similar size.

Example of logo size relationship

Position relationship

When collateral or communication is managed by sponsor

If you are managing the communication and collateral, your logo should always appear first. The SIRA logo then appears in the lower section of the communication, indicating a supporting role. Ideally, the two logos should be positioned separately.

Example of logo positioning

When SIRA is the primary sponsor

SIRA’s logo must appear first in the line of logos (if there are multiple sponsors).

Logo position and sizes when SIRA is the primary sponsor

When SIRA is an equal sponsor

In some instances, when there are multiple organisations involved, there may be a need to line up logos side by side. This is permitted, but the size relationship should appear visually balanced. One should not dominate the other and logos should appear in alphabetical order.

Documentation requirements

Commissioned work owned by SIRA

When reporting on findings from SIRA commissioned work, owned by SIRA, organisations should use the SIRA branded cover templates in teal. Please contact your research project lead for the most appropriate template for your project. We also have standard images available if required.

We request that you ensure the content follows the Australian Government Style Manual and accessibility requirements.

Commissioned work owned by provider

If your research or commissioned work is owned by your organisation, then you should use your own templates and acknowledge SIRA.

Acknowledging SIRA contributions and/or funding

Please use the following acknowledgement of SIRA funding for academic publications.

“This study was funded by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority of New South Wales. The views expressed are those of the study authors and not necessarily those of the study funder.”
