3. How many claims did insurers accept?
Insurers accepted most claims from injured people and their families. During the 2022* year (*1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022), 96.6% of claims were accepted compared to 96.3% in the year 2021. More detail on the declined claims is provided on the following page.
