SIRA Bulletin - Issue 69

3 December 2025

SIRA has recently transitioned to a new operating model to strengthen our ability to deliver our strategic priorities and legislative responsibilities, while continuing to fulfil our purpose of making sure NSW insurance schemes protect and support the people who need them now and into the future.

Throughout this transition, we have maintained business continuity and delivered on key commitments. We recently completed an evaluation of SIRA funded support programs in NSW which highlighted the positive impact these programs have for people injured at work or on the road in NSW. The findings were discussed at one of our recent roundtables where we are working with stakeholders to help inform SIRA's Return to Work Roadmap.

We continue to hold our regulated entities to account as demonstrated in the special conditions imposed on Woolworths Group Limited. Further details on our regulatory actions can be found in our quarterly regulatory update.

As we approach the end of the year, I reflect on the achievements of SIRA so far. We’ve recently published our Annual Report for 2024-25 where you can read more about what we’ve been able to accomplish. Looking ahead, our enhanced operating model will enable us to deliver even greater impact and success in 2026.
