SIRA Bulletin - Issue 56

2 November 2023

Welcome to the latest issue of the SIRA Bulletin

In just four weeks Sydney will host the 23rd World Congress on Safety and Health at Work. This event offers a unique opportunity to meet global leaders in safety and harm prevention from over 120 countries.

With a full programme of events at the International Congress Centre (ICC) Darling Harbour from 27 - 30 November, the Congress will provide a forum to connect, build strategic partnerships and learn about new work, health, and safety ideas and innovation.

SIRA will host an event at the ICC on Monday 27 November (2:00pm – 4:00pm) where we will be joined by distinguished panellists. These include Professor Samuel Harvey from Black Dog Institute and Professor Alex Collie from Monash University to discuss work participation in injury compensation schemes, with a particular focus on recovery for people with psychological injuries. Register to attend.

I look forward to seeing you there.
