The CTP Assist team can help you navigate the compulsory third party (CTP) claims process and understand your entitlements.

Eligibility
The service provides support to:
- people injured in a motor crash in NSW
- family members of people who have died in a motor crash in NSW
- other users of the CTP scheme, including health providers, hospitals and lawyers.
How CTP Assist can help
Call CTP Assist on 1300 656 919 or email ctpassist@sira.nsw.gov.au for help with:
- navigating the CTP claims process, including completing relevant forms
- understanding eligibility for CTP claims
- identifying and getting in touch with the right insurer
- information and answers to questions throughout the process
- access to injury recovery information and online resources
- access to legal services and local community services
- immediate access to trauma and grief support
- specialist support for family and other close relations of people who have died as a result of a motor crash.
Milestone calls
CTP Assist also operates an outbound call service which proactively contacts people with an injury at key milestones during their claims journey. The purpose of these calls is to:
- check in on the person with an injury’s claims experience
- provide information about legislation, rules and benefits
- increase awareness about entitlements to damage
- offer support to people with higher needs such as non-English speakers or self-employed earners with some incapacity.
