Help to return to work with pre-accident employer
Recover at work assist
Provides assistance payments of up to $400 per week for up to 12 weeks to help an employer offset the costs of offering recovery at work opportunities to their employee.
Help to find work with a new employer
Transition to work
Helps to remove an immediate barrier in looking for or starting new employment.
Tier 1 – up to $200 to help prepare for job seeking.
Tier 2 – up to $5000 to address barriers to accepting an offer of employment with a new employer.
JobCover6
Supports employers to offer employment for up to 6 months duration.
Eligible employers receive:
- payment of up to $10,400
- protection against the costs associated with changes to the person’s existing injury for up to 2 years
This program has a minimum requirement of 64 paid hours a month.
JobCover Placement Program
Supports employers to offer employment for up to 12 months duration.
Eligible employers receive:
- payment of up to $27,400
- protection against the costs associated with changes to the person’s existing injury for up to 2 years.
This program has a minimum requirement of 64 paid hours a month.

Note: If you feel training and/or equipment may assist you return to work, this will need to be assessed by your insurer as a statutory benefit - they are not provided as SIRA programs in the CTP scheme.
The cost of these programs are funded by SIRA. They are not a claims cost used to calculate workers compensation premiums.
