Recovering from a mild traumatic brain injury

This information is for people who have gone to the emergency department with a mild traumatic brain injury and their carers. It is also for people who make an appointment with their local doctor for follow up on their injury. Sometimes this injury is referred to as a head injury or concussion.

Concussion in sport

Concussion in Sport is a government funded website that provides simple but specific advisory tools for children, athletes, teachers, coaches and medical practitioners.

It also includes a joint position statement with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Australian Medical Association (AMA) on concussion in sport.
