The new Claims Assessment and Medical Assessment Guidelines applicable to the 1999 Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Scheme have been published on the SIRA website and NSW Government Gazette:

These Guidelines apply to determine transitional matters (i.e. existing matters not yet resolved under the old Claims Assessment and Resolution Service (CARS) and Medical Assessment Service (MAS) system) for the Personal Injury Commission. For all other matters after 1 March 2021, the Personal Injury Commission Rules will apply: Personal Injury Commission Rules 2021.

An updated version of the Motor Accident Guidelines for the 2017 CTP Scheme will also be published shortly.
