New guidelines for claiming workers compensation

New guidelines for claiming workers compensation come into effect on 1 August 2016.

Following extensive consultation, the new guidelines will replace four publications, including the:

  1. Guidelines for claiming compensation benefits
  2. Work capacity guidelines
  3. Guidelines for work capacity decision internal reviews by insurers and merit reviews by the Authority
  4. Guidelines for the provision of domestic assistance

Information and education sessions

To support the implementation of the guidelines we have a pre-recorded webinar - available with captions and without - outlining the development and changes.

We also held information sessions for interested stakeholders and insurers.
