The State Insurance Regulatory Authority is seeking feedback on the draft claims administration manual (CAM) standards of practice.
The CAM will form part of a broader online platform - a centralised and connected repository of information relevant to the workers compensation system.
The CAM standards of practice aim to set principle-based expectations for insurer claims management processes and conduct.
Where appropriate, the standards will include key timelines, processes and procedures to be adopted by insurers with respect to key milestones and other aspects of workers compensation claims.
