How CTP insurance claims are managed and disputes resolved

The NSW Government wants to improve claims handling and dispute resolution services in the CTP Green Slip Scheme. We asked for your feedback.

  • The Issue

    Consultation period: 09/11/2016 8:00 am to 25/11/2016 11:59 pm

    A discussion paper considers the cultural shift required of insurers and other stakeholders and service providers in a reformed CTP Green Slip scheme.

    Under proposed reforms, injured people will be provided with benefits defined by law aimed at quicker outcomes focuses on health, work and quality of life.

    The more seriously injured will receive these benefits as well as being able to negotiate for lump sum compensation.

    The discussion paper outlines options for enhanced and improved claimant support and advocacy and dispute resolution services.
